Evening Care

WSUCC provides evening child care for children of WSU students, staff, and faculty. To use evening care, a family must complete the enrollment process at WSUCC including payment of a $50 enrollment fee. Once a family has completed the WSUCC enrollment process, they may begin using Evening Care services.

Evening care is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm during the academic year. Evening care will not be available when the university is closed for holidays, when classes are not in session, or during the summer months.

WSUCC Evening Care services are provided according to the age and developmental levels of the children. In the classrooms, a variety of creative, learning activities are offered for the various age groups served. In addition to classroom activities, dinner and evening snacks are provided for children ages 1 year and older.

Registration is available on a daily basis using the Evening Care Registration system (click here to register). When a family wishes to use Evening Care, registration must be completed by 2pm on the day services are requested. Registration will not be available after 2pm and drop-off services are not available to families who have not registered.

Evening care is $18 per evening, per child for students, faculty and staff. Early drop-off and late pick-up fees will apply as per WSUCC policies (see Rate Information). A no-show fee of $18 per night will be charged for families who register but do not use the service. Funds may be available to WSU graduate student families through GPSA.
